How to install Icinga on Ubuntu 19.10

Icinga is an open source monitoring and alerting system I just discovered. I learned to install it on a Centos 7, but wanted to install on an Ubuntu 19.10 and couldn't find any instructions. There a few differences and caveats to consider:

How to set a Backdrop cms as backend and a Laravel as frontend

I fall in love with Backdrop, a Drupal 7 fork, a few years after Drupal 8 let me down as a single person web shop. Backdrop is a great tool to build up simple, and not so simple, websites.
